Jared Erekson is an associate attorney at Hundley & Harrison. He practices primarily family law, personal injury, and estate planning.
Jared has a reputation for hard work and is skilled at complex research tasks. This helps him explain challenging legal topics to clients and present winning arguments to the court.
Prior to law school, Jared worked as a police officer here in the state of Utah. He responded to thousands of calls for service and is intimately aware of the challenges people face in domestic issues, child abuse claims, and custody disputes. He also investigated hundreds of traffic accidents involving trucks, cars, bikes, and pedestrians. He personally knows the difficulties and injuries associated with them.
Jared enjoys the outdoors and loves to mountain bike, rock climb, backpack, and marathon swim. He also competes in Scottish Highland Games and Strongman events.
During his time in law school, Jared’s list of accomplishments included the following: ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, Spong National Moot Court Competition Traveling Team, Journal of Public Law: Editor, Trial Advocacy Team, Rex E. Lee Moot Court Competition: Semi-Finalist, Woody Deem Trial Advocacy Competition: Semi-Finalist, Linda Anderson Trial Advocacy Competition: Quarterfinalist.
